About this printable
This worksheet features large, dotted uppercase and lowercase Gs for tracing practice. The lines are open and easy to follow for little hands. Below the tracing lines, children can hunt for and color every G and g they find in a grid of letters.
This page is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers learning the alphabet. It helps develop fine motor skills through tracing and visual discrimination through the letter find activity. Use it as a fun introduction to the letter G or as part of a larger alphabet lesson.

Questions about this printable
Is "Practice Letter G Tracing and Find Worksheet" really free? ▾
Yes — the PDF is free to download and print, with no account, no email and no watermark on the file. The site is paid for by advertising, which is why ads sit around the printable and never on it.
What paper size does it print on? ▾
The file is laid out for US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and prints just as cleanly on A4 — turn on "Fit to page" in your print dialog and it scales to about 97%, which nobody can see by eye.
What should I colour it with? ▾
Anything you already have. Pencils and crayons sit on the surface and need nothing special; markers want cardstock, or at least a sacrifice sheet under the page to save your table.
Can I use it in my classroom? ▾
Yes. Teachers, homeschool parents, childminders and libraries may print unlimited copies for their own children at no cost and with no permission needed. The only thing you may not do is sell it, sell prints of it, or pass the file itself around — share a link to this page instead.
Is there more like this? ▾
This page is part of 53 Free Alphabet Tracing A-Z Coloring Pages, which has 53 printables in it. You can take them one at a time, or use the "Download all" button on the set's page to get every page in one go.
Can I change it? ▾
This one is a true vector PDF — every line is a shape and the text is still live text, so it opens in Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity or Canva and can be edited. That is for your own use: the licence does not allow reselling it, edited or not.
