About this printable
This simple worksheet features six bold, black squares. Each square has thick, clear lines, making them easy for little hands to follow with scissors. Small scissors icons are placed on the corner edges to indicate where to start and stop cutting. This page is ideal for toddlers and preschoolers just beginning to develop their scissor control.
Use this page to help children practice straight-line cutting. It's perfect for building confidence and dexterity before moving on to more complex shapes. After cutting, the squares can be used for art projects, counting games, or building activities.

Questions about this printable
Do I have to pay for Cut Out The Squares Coloring Page? ▾
No. Click the download button and the file saves straight away — nothing to sign up for, nothing to pay, and no watermark across the artwork.
What paper size does it print on? ▾
The file is laid out for US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and prints just as cleanly on A4 — turn on "Fit to page" in your print dialog and it scales to about 97%, which nobody can see by eye.
Can I print it more than once? ▾
As many times as you like. Plain copy paper is all it needs. If you use the same sheet daily, slip it into a plastic wallet and write on it with a dry-wipe marker — one printed page then lasts weeks.
Can I use it in my classroom? ▾
Yes. Teachers, homeschool parents, childminders and libraries may print unlimited copies for their own children at no cost and with no permission needed. The only thing you may not do is sell it, sell prints of it, or pass the file itself around — share a link to this page instead.

Can I change it? ▾
This one is a true vector PDF — every line is a shape and the text is still live text, so it opens in Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity or Canva and can be edited. That is for your own use: the licence does not allow reselling it, edited or not.
